Janusz Pieczykolan, M.D.

Janusz Pieczykolan is an internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon. In addition to focusing on hand surgery, he quickly came to discover that the leg and in particular the foot were rather neglected in orthopaedics. From that time onward he has devoted himself to these special areas, while also expanding his spectrum to all the major joints in the body. Today Janusz Pieczykolan is a recognised expert in the field of arthritis-orthopaedics, particularly that of the foot.
That is the reason why he founded the Arthros Institute, where he is supported by a qualified team.
Janusz Pieczykolan is married and has two children. Born in Poland, he has been living in Cologne since 1986. He is a member of the Deutsche Assoziation für orthopädische Fußchirurgie e.V. (DAF) [German Association for Orthopaedic Foot Surgery], the Gesellschaft für Fußchirurgie e.V. [Society for Foot Surgery], the Polish Foot and Ankle Society and associate member of ACFAS (American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons).
